Erythromycin-zinc complex. It possesses anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and comedolytic action.
Erythromycin has a bacteriostatic effect on microorganisms that cause acne: Propionibacterium acnes and Streptococcus epidermidis. Zinc reduces the production of sebum and has an astringent action.
Zineryt Dosage
The drug is applied topically. Using the supplied applicator, the prepared Zineryt solution is applied thinly to the affected area of skin 2 times per day: in the morning (before applying makeup) and in the evening (after washing). The drug should be applied by tilting the bottle with the prepared solution down with light pressure. The application rate of the solution is regulated by the pressure of the applicator against the skin. Approximate single dose - 0.5 ml. After drying the solution becomes invisible.
Course duration - up to 10-12 weeks. In some cases clinical improvement occurs after 2 weeks.
Zineryt Overdose
Accidental overdose is unlikely due to the nature of local drug application.
Zineryt Drug interactions
To date, no clinically significant interactions of Zineryt with other drugs have been established.
Zineryt Pregnancy and lactation
It is now established that the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible according to the indications in recommended doses.
Zineryt Side effects
Local reactions: sometimes a burning sensation, irritation, dryness of the skin may occur on the site of application of the drug. Typically, these conditions are mild and do not require discontinuation of the drug or symptomatic therapy.
Zineryt Storage time and conditions
The drug should be stored out of children’s reach at a temperature 15° - 25°С. Shelf life - 3 years.

Using the drug, one should consider the possibility of cross-resistance to other antibiotics of the macrolide group, lincomycin, clindamycin.
Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membrane of the mouth and nose, as it can cause irritation and burns.
